photo nuts: With the release of the D600, Nikon has destroyed the sales of both Sony RX1 and A99 even before they hit the shelves. Price alone is enough to guarantee that. Sweeeeeeet.....
How would it destroy the sales of the A99? You can say it will "destroy" the D800 sales as well.
Sony users looking to replace their A700/A77/A900/A850 will get the A99 not the D600 even if it is cheaper. And the RX1 is not even in the same category as the D600, that is a competitor to Leica and Fuji cameras. A niche that Canon nor Nikon wants to touch.
Besides, this camera is missing so many features that make a FF pro camera. Probably better off getting a used D700 or 5DMk2 than the D600
impressive camera by Nikon, but I don't know how dpreview is raving that it is the "most affordable full frame camera yet" when the Sony A850 was released at $1,999 TWO YEARS ago.

So Leica releases a $8,000 black and white camera and it gets praises while Sony releases a FF compact with Zeiss lens and people complain. LOL
