No kidding. Today it auto-corrected ”online checkin” to ”online virgin”... I think it spends too much time in my front pocket

It is nice and refreshing to have a civil conversation even when there is disagreement, especially on a website where anonymity often allows people to be gratuitously obnoxious. Thanks for that, and thanks for your very kind comments in the lady post. Take care

I appreciate that your taste is different than mine, and that's definitely not an issue for me. However, pornography is defined as "the explicit portrayal of sexual subject matter for the purpose of sexual gratification". There is absolutely NONE of that in my photo. The amount of bar skin is no more than you see on any city street on a hot day, and far less than what you see at the beach. If my picture leads you to imagine all kinds of other things (hence my comment "it's in your imagination"), the credit goes to you, and not to me. That's all. Anyway, thanks for your replies. Let's put this one to rest if you don't mind.

What photography does is put a bunch of pixels on a screen. If you see something other than what those pixels show you deserve all the credit. By the way, I don't have a problem with that, but apparently you do...

well, ConanFuji, since you instantly, and unnecessarily, introduced yourself, let me explain a couple of things.
First, I have already extensively clarified in other posts that the challenge itself is fine, and the bug is in DPR. The fact that the bug is known does not make it irrelevant, by the way.
Second, in countries that don't try to have an all-male population, and go as far as killing newborn girls to achieve that, saying "why are you complaining like a woman?" is offensive to women, regardless of whether you say it to a man or a woman. So, since this is a global site, invest some time on refining your cultural etiquette, unless you want people to think (know ?) you are a misogynistic jerk.
Cheerio.

Ishikawa: This is an amazing photographic. I had trouble moving to the next picture. Her eyes say so much

Thank you very much! I really appreciate your comment, and I am glad you liked the picture. Looking at these kids through the eyes of a person living in the Western world can be heart breaking. Then you start remembering the horrible things still afflicting so many children living in wealthy countries...

Not sure why all this didn't make it into the entry, but here it is again:

This is 9.2% of the original picture... Thanks Canon :-) We were swarmed by these kids as soon as we got off our van. This girl was just standing in the back. Her expression stood out for me

to further set the record straight, the host (blosshapperter) has fully redeemed himself, sending me a very nice message, not only to explain why the picture was disqualified (no EXIF), but giving me some good suggestions for future entries.
I'm still unclear as to why I was never notified. I wonder if it's a sporadic error or if other people have had that issue with DPR's notification system

not to be picky, but some of the pictures show pantyhose, not stockings (and some you can't tell). Is that what the host intended?

to set the record straight, I finally heard from the host (blosshapperter). The reason he gave me was valid (I had accidentally failed to include EXIF info, as the rules stated), but for some reason the disqualification notice never got to me, preventing me from fixing the problem and re-entering the challenge. So, it appears to be an issue with DPR's notification system. Bummer.

Ha ha, good thing I changed my mind about which picture to submit for this challenge, since the one below was on my list of candidates
