MichaelIsGreat4: That is a very good example why black and white photos are really dead, without life!! No matter how good this photo might be in black and white, in color it would be 1000% much better and nicer!!
Life is in color, so must be our pictures. It is like asking someone to love a black and white TV because it is black and white and therefore it is mor "artistic" when we are now in the 4K HDR TV era!!!
Do you have anything constructive to say than your idiotic comments?!! You can keep your insults to yourself, idiot!!
You have nothing to say that could counteract the points that I made that are legitimate!!
Are you one of these blind people who think that black and white pictures are "artistic"?!! Well, wake up it is 2016 and color has replaced black and white long ago and for good reasons!!
I would advise you to avoid making comments when you have nothing constructive to say than your idiotic comments and your insults!!
Go back to your slum!!
No need to reply!!
That is a very good example why black and white photos are really dead, without life!! No matter how good this photo might be in black and white, in color it would be 1000% much better and nicer!!
In color, it would have been so much better!! In black and white, it is dead, lifeless in many ways!! And certainly NOT artistic in any way!!
Black and white pictures are DEAD, except for those who still believe that it is "artistic" to have black and white pictures!! The truth is that we live in a colorful world, not in a black and white world!!! END OF THE STORY!!
Where was this picture taken? Thanks for sharing this touching picture.
Could you tell me for information where is this nice cottage located? It must be really peaceful near this cottage. Thanks for sharing this nice picture.
What is the location of this picture? Thanks.
It would have been a nice picture in COLOR!!
Black and white photos are DEAD, literally and figuratively!! The world in which we live is a world of colors, not black and white. There are the pretentious people who associate black and white photos with artistic photos but it is a false belief!!
You should get rid of these contests focused exclusively in black and white!! Or always ask to give the color version of the black and white pictures shown.
Black and white photos is like asking you to watch TV in black and white when we are now having TVs in 1080p color and even in 4K color HDR and wide color gamut!!
Any links on the user guides for each of these 7 Adobe Photoshop plugins for the Google Nik Software? Thanks.
Anyone has the user guide in pdf format for each of these 7 Google Nik Software Adobe Photoshop plugins?
Thanks in advance for the ones happy to help.
Another black and white stupid contest!! Wake up, we live in a colorful world, not in a black and white color!!! Therefore, these back and white contests should ALWAYS ask to provide the color version of the black and white pictures provided.
It is like asking us to go back to the black and white TVs when we are not in the era of 1080p color TVs and entering the new era of 4K color TVs!!!
OMG, another black and white photo worshiper who thinks that black and white photos add something "artistic" or special when the truth is that black and white photos are photos that miss a lot, their colors!!
It is like reverting back to black and white TVs when we are now in the era of 1080p color TVs and soon in the 4K color TV era!!!!!
Wake up, we live in a colorful world and therefore your pictures MUST reflect this colorful reality, not the stupid and false idea that there would be anything artistic with black and white pictures when these black and white pictures are missing the colorful reality that is all around us!!
I suggest that when you have this unhealthy urge of doing a challenge with black and white photos, you ask the participants to provide BOTH the black and white photo as well as its color version and this way we will judge if the black and white photo really adds something special compared to the original color one!!
Why not make these new Nikon cameras with interchangeable lenses instead of fixed lenses?!!I would NEVER buy cameras with fixed lenses!!
Where was this picture taken? Thanks.
PieterVuylsteke: In Belgium.
On the boundery of the Condroz and the Famenne. Famenne is a plateau that is a bit higher than the Condroz. One needs to cross some up and downhills to get onto that plateau.
Temperature was about 10 degrees, but remaining snow produced cold air and thus fog.
I forced my luck to be there at the right moment. Remember Galen Rowell.
Hello Pieter, thanks for your feedback on the location and on sharing with us such a beautiful picture.
