I was happy with my Stratos purchase from Phottix. I bought three receivers, though.
They only have the multi, 5-in-1 now. I have a previous version. They have served me well for the last three...

Some of those are nice improvements, I guess. But they don't rate a new camera model nor do they rate discontinuing the previous model.
Just my thoughts.

This happened to me when my daughter was two. We wanted to get pics taken and for whatever reason, our little girl decided "NO" when picture time came. The photographer noticed that she had a...

My fanboysm?!?! What the heck?!?! Several cameras share the same sensor and Digic processor and yet you're telling me that's the one camera that stinks?!?!
My experience with it says otherwise. ...

Says who?!?! I have used my 7D for weddings, concert events, portraits, night-time high school football, indoor volleyball and basketball. It's a great camera for all those areas.
If the 7D does...

I love this combo! Traded my T3i for it and have not regretted it since.

You have to ask if 5 FPS vs 3.7 FPS is worth it.
Have to ask if ALL focus points are cross-type vs just the center is worth it.
Have to ask if 6400 (which is quite usable on the T4i) is worth...

Well, they release a camera that has . . .
"new firmware in the T5i allows real time preview of some special effects when shooting in Live View mode. In terms of hardware and controls it appears...

It is a great camera!
I didn't trade mine for the touch screen and keep that feature off most of the time. Only if I use the video features and a tripod do I ever use it.
-
That is what I would like to know as well.
Save your money and buy a T4i. I love mine.

There is very little reason for the T5i. You...

These rumors are so fun to follow. Honestly, it could be 36meg. I will still keep both my T4i and 7D until they drop dead. Both cameras have more features than I need right now. Still learning...

You have to constantly look . . . like several time in a few minutes. And be ready to buy right then and there.
I got burned by that. I was updating the page during the Christmas season one day. ...

And while you are waiting, you could be taking pics :-p
The Amazon deal looks to be a good one.
-
I have used both Ziekos (T3i/T4i) and Phottix (7D) grips with no issues
-
Either one is a good deal. I would opt for the 18-135 STM lens kit, though. I bought it and love the combo.
I use the T4i as a back up and walk around camera.
-
I agree, get a grip :-p.
I have a 7D with a grip and T4i with a grip. It's one of the first purchases I make with a camera. It is on my camera 99-44/100ths of the time.
You get longer battery...

So, are these Yongou's answer to the Canon 600EX-Rt?
Will they transmit/receive ETTL?
-
HAve you checked out Phottix Stratos II? I have a transmitter/receiver set.
when they were first released to market, I paid ~190 for a TX and 3 RX's. I have used them for a few years with great...
