The only thing that doesn't seem to have been mentioned is that the A65 seems to be being phased out so I don't know how much longer it will be available ?
Of the Sony range the A58 + 18-135...

Thanks for the help guys, I've also been pointed to David KP's article (on another site which can't be mentioned :-D) which also goes down the replacement route. So even though I'm a bit of a...

The screen protector on my nearly 2 yr old NEX5N started coming off so I completed the process only to find that the anti-reflection (or some lind of coating) has come away ina pretty random...

I wonder if you can help me then as I took my 55-300 to a small airshow (albeit with A700 & A57) but had almost no good shots from it. The focussing was very slow and even if it did find...

If it's what I'm trying to do then it's about reducing the light leakage around/into the VF in bright sunlight. From this thread it would appear that specs wearers also have issues which this might...

As an old time film user - mainly 35mm - I understood that 35mm focal length was, as someone else has mentioned, the approximate "view" of the human eye looking at a scene & that was certainly my...

Manny - welcome to DPR ! I have the 5N (+EVF) & unlike many others think the kit lens is perfectly OK for 90% of situations (not talking about zoom range, just the quality of the images).
For me...

Speaking personally I'd go for the A57 (I did) - great little camera & as it appears the DSLR market is going to change a lot in the next 2-3 years with the new on-sensor focus technology & (?)...

I agree, the surround on the external VF on my 5N (which I think is the same) is poor - I believe I saw that there was a better one coming out as part of the RX1 Mk2 but with 2 daughters getting...

I'm sure a quick check on DPR's review section will give all the tech details but from my experience with the A57 which has a better rear LCD - I find that I'm doing virtually everything in the...

As an older person who wears reading glasses for close work I find touch screens almost useless & have the one on my 5N turned off & got rid of my (HTC) smart phone for the same reason, so before...

I had the same experience, I bought the 5N almost on a whim & coming from years on film & DSLR's found using the screen a royal pain in the fundament - couldn't see it most of the time (too bright,...

I'm a long time user of the Sony 16-105 which I find an excellent balance of size, weight, and has the essential (for me) 16mm width plus a half decent reach. Quality is great for 95% of shots (on...
