I just want to let you know that I like this picture, one of my favorites in this challenge.
This is a really nice picture, one of my favorites. I feel sorry for all those undeserved 0.5 votes. It is a shame.
There are many good images in this challenge and this is one of my favorites. Well done!
Humito: What a beatiful shot! Thank You.I really miss that kind of cold and the absolute clarity it brings - I used to live in Wisconsin but for many years now live in the damp S.W. of England.
Thanks again for the shot
Thank you for your kind comment. The winter can be cold but also beautiful.
Iain Harper: Love it. You'll be very close to winning!
Thank you very much. Your were almost right. Starsta.
Rzewuski: very nice (the only is these trees are not birches :)
Thank you for taking your time to comment on my picture. I understand you are familiar with trees which I respect. However, I can assure you that these trees are birches. I am a forester by profession and have lived close to these particular birches for more than ten years. Best Wishes, Starsta :)
Grant_SA: Gorgeous photo. Were you fortunate enough to find the web like this?
Thank you. Yes, I found the web like that. I was out picking berries a gray day when I came across the web.
deMeloSilveira: Who mentally ill person gives 0.5 to this photo? Why this same mentally ill person didn't give 0.5 to the 71?, I don't see any Window. The 64, no reflex, and so many others, it's because of the technique? I don't Think so, look at the 69, again no 0.5. There was no way of getting the last place in a fair contest. Man I'm realy mad, but above all I'm sad.
Don't take it too hard. Similar things have happened to many others, myself included. The voters can be very tough and also give unjustified low marks. Anyway, don't let this incident keep you away from entering more challenges. Best Wishes, Starsta.
RickBuddy: I liked this one a lot!
I like it too. It should have placed a lot higher in this challenge.
I would just like to say that I like your picture and think that it ought to have placed a lot higher in this challenge. Best Wishes, Starsta.
Very good. Congratulations.
Roderick Tsang: very nice pic. so calm
Thank you. Starsta.
This is a nice photo. However, I am not completely sure anything has gone wrong here. It might very well be the case that the two boats have been put under water on purpose. This is sometimes done after a wooden boat has been stored on land. The idea is to soak the dry wood and make it expand, and thus get rid of leaks. Honestly, I do not know what the case is with the pictured boats, but the procedure of wilfully putting boats under water is regularly practised in my country, Sweden. I am sorry if this is bad news, but I felt I had to mention it. Best Regards, Starsta.
LynneG: great shot!
Thank you LynneG!
RBFresno: Very nice!
Thank you RBFresno. Those birch trees grow about 150 meters from my house.
Thank you. It was taken near Åre in Sweden. The lake is called Hensjön.
