I think this image deserves a much higher rank than second last. It has life in it, nice colours and movement.
I like this one. Great idea.
Banhmi: Nice pic!Interesting camera/lens combination.
Thanks for your comment. I think many of Konicas Hexanon prime lenses perform well. This image was taken indoors with a 135 mm lens and a makro extension ring.
cmantx: I really liked the look and feel of this shot. It gives a feel of extreme cold but beauty also. I voted it as one of my top shots.
Thank you very much. The temperature was well below zero but it was not extremely cold. I tried different camera settings for maybe half an hour without suffering too much.
TheDreamingWatchman: Congratulations!I find your photo to be the most appealing one in the whole challenge. It's very calm, peaceful - but also a little bit eerie.
Thank you very much. It was a special evening, the first snow had fallen, the clouds disappeared and then the moon turned up.

EinMM: Great shot but I prefer u post process it to balance the exposure between sky and ground, or use graduate filter.
Thanks for your comment. I am afraid there was no time to put on a filter. When I saw the light coming down that hole I just grabbed my compact camera and tried to get a picture. 30 seconds later it was all over. Best wishes, Starsta.
RuthC: Congratulations, Starsa, on this very striking image. It deserves one of the top spots in this challenge. Ruth :-)
