White Lotus: The only feature I can see with dual lenses is 3D. If you have 1 lens in a position, and another lens in another position, the angle of each picture will be slightly different. The size of the iPhone is perfect because the height of the camera allows you to place the lenses in such a way to equal the average width between a person's eyes, giving you a realistic perspective.

Maybe they can also use the dual lenses to emulate a shallow DOF, to increase AF speed or tracking ability.

Luis Fonseca: "amazing town"? Amazing indeed but definitely not a town.
It is one of the oldest cities in Europe, dating 12th century BC.
It's the second oldest capital city in Europe, after Athens and 4 centuries older than Rome.

thanasaki, indeed we have a lot in common with the greeks and we are usually in the same boat although we haven't forgiven the Euro 2004 :-). Curiously, Eça de Queiroz, an other great portuguese writer, wrote in 1872 about Portugal and Greece being so similar.

On Typhoon in the Transportation Photography challenge (23 comments in total)

An excellent photo indeed but IMO a fighter or a tank are not transportation. For me transportation means to moving people or goods from one place to another. The reasonig that says a fighter is a transportation also says that an ICBM, a suicide bomber, a wind breeze or even a rifle are transportation. But congratulations on the photo.
