title is wrong, is 4.5-5.6 aperture not 4-5.6 aperture, I think you got it confused with a Sony
-
pretty smart announcing a product twice and making the front page twice
-
The Sony 70-400mm G is absolutely the best lens in its class, too bad Sony didn't update it with weather-sealing
-
@iudex, keep in mind Samsung's own 20mm is 2.8, so I guess it is pointless they released it While Panasonic cameras also cover a much smaller sensor
-
I don't see how Lumix is any different than NEX or Alpha brandings
-
Sony E-mount is maturing rapidly, can't wait for the premium zoom coming later this year. Although Sony really need a fast telezoom like a 50-150mm f/2.8, instead of slow travel zooms.

The 5D3 is widely known to be soft straight out of the camera, but it is less prone to moire than the Sony, to be honest the sony A99 look fine compared to its close rivals. I hate how people are...

Looking good, to be honest I'm not sure what all the complaints are about, the A99 is clearly better than the 5D2 and on par with the D800 in terms of video, ISO is usable until 3200 which is a bit...

Has anyone tested the low light video performance on A99? I'm looking to upgrade, on my A65 everything turns to mush by ISO1600 and I need that that for most night shots.
-
Has anyone with the A99 test to video features and compared it to the A77/65? I'm looking to upgrade but has been dissatisfied with the video quality of the A65, mostly dealing with details and low...

is closer to the Alpha system since it share the same menus
-
Still waiting for a Pro-body (moisture dust resistant) NEX-7 to compete with the GH3, hopefully Sony would implement for video features. I expect there should something announced by CP+ next year
-
The only lens I can think of is the 28-75mm but it has a SAM motor not sure how quite it will be. As for the flash since it is a standard shoe now many aftermarket flash will work, there are a few...

the A99 is a bargain compared to D600 in terms of video, the EVF alone save on the cost of getting a z-finder, not to mention better video controls and optional XLR terminal. Right now I'm just...

yes, Pentax K-01's fabulous aesthetics can only be topped by leather and mahogany
-
probably still sell well among the russian oligarchs, saudi princes, chinese princelings crowd
-
Sony just partnered with Fuji for sensor and EVF tech, along with investment in Olympus, not to mention buying up Konika and Minolta. Seems like Sony wants to muster whatever it can to counter the...

Turning SteadyShot off would be an option had Sony introduced stabilized lenses. I do most of my work handheld, so stabilization is a must, but I'm not too keen on the cropping.
-
Are you certain of this? Anyone else with some hands on info? I would be pretty disappointed.
-
I'll be primarily getting the A99 for video. Does anyone know if the A99 have a video crop during stabilization? This would be a deal breaker for me.
