Learned something new, but 100k seems low - I've done over 1k shots in the span of 2-3 days, although I've never run a camera into the ground yet.

I don't remember the NEX-7 being sealed or prompting me to setup the camera. In fact if you reset it to factory defaults and power it back up, it still won't prompt you. Being mirrorless I doubt it...
