I disagree with you concerning this photo. If you disqualify my photo then you would have to disqualify any photos of statues or churches for the same reason. Furthermore, you didn't even show me the courtesy of answering my replies.
This is what my photo represents:
The Monument to the Discovery is impressive because it has about 52 feet high and shaped ship with the shield of Portugal and is located on the banks of the Tagus River, in the district of Belem. It was built in 1960 to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the death of D. Henry the Navigator, so celebrated sailors and all who participated in the development of the Age of Discovery.
you said everything taken in Lisbon was acceptable, then you shouldn't reject my photo of one of it's main statues. Everyone that goes to Lisbon takes a photo of it while they are there. That is not what that statue represents, that is your bias, if you apply your rule then 95% of photos of statues would have to be rejected from any competition. I request you re-instate my photo to the competition.
