808 vs. 1020... err.. on a per pixel basis its pretty much no contest, the 808 has the better camera. you sure about that ? : )

They helped make the two best cameraphones thus far.. the N8 and the 808.. I won't be surprised if this ends up on a Microsoft phone soon..

I disagree .. the 808 can be as smart as any other smartphone out there.

Yes you can... as a consumer you can pick up an unlocked 808 from amazon with US warranty for under $400. Its a proper smartphone..

No one is bashing it... its better than anything else but the 808.. that's all.

I think at this point its pretty obvious that the 808 is the better camera... but I find that only one of the reasons to not replace the 808 with a 1020. I updated my post here with more comps...

You can start with this   8Mpix, 50iso, ND filter off if possible, superfine jpeg quality, -.3 to .7 exposure, sharpness +1 Vivid colors and +1 saturation if want a color...

Edge sharpness on the 808 seems...

In terms of IQ vs. Size ratio nothing can touch the 808.. at 95.5 cubic centimeters volume and 1/1.2'' with wide angle ziess + built in ND filter.. nothing comes close.

I don't want to shoot the 808 at 50iso because the 1020 can only go down to a 100, so everyone will say that it isn't fair..     Yup.   I am thinking a Baytrail based Windows 8 Pro tablet +...

I think the second set of pics are pretty close in terms of shutter speeds.. I was surprised that the 1020 went slower than the 808 at 200iso, I was expecting the 808 to struggle since in auto mode...

More, this time locked at 200 iso All these differences will be exaggerated further if you take the phones outside and shoot some proper landscapes and close...
