what about 350 -600 f/4-5.6 . it may be seen as too restrictive for some but at least you can really expect exemplary optical performance .

Turn it upwards and it is becoming instantly a souvenir mug for serving Vodka or a cheap eau de cologne ... similarly can fire higher gauge ammunition and even lit your Vostok cigarette ... hm ... Lummy, what a tool !

On Canon Korea teases new camera, EOS M2 or SL1/100D? article (257 comments in total)

should be something special I guess and I can not expect nothing less from the one and only Canon! At EISA 2013-14 the company won the prestigious European Professional lens with their Canon EF200-400 f/4L IS USM Extender 1.4x, followed by the European SLR camera ... Canon EOS100D and the amazing European Advanced SLR camera ... Canon 6D ! Canon ... you can !!!

On Tamron to develop 150-600mm F5-6.3 ultra-telephoto zoom article (193 comments in total)

The latest 70-200 f/2.8 from Tamron was a mediocre attempt to beat the very best in its class despite the company's resounding statement for a class leading product ... it was not ... at 200mm wide open the performance of the lens was quite unflattering in all my test, a finding confirmed in many other tests. I really hope that this time Tamron will do it right .. after all what is the point to have a massive 600mm if the result is disappointing !? awaiting with moderate optimism .

Allen Yang: I prefer Nikon D7100 to this!

who cares indeed ... but I just wonder is there a camera with more ridiculous code name .. OK ... lets repeat... OM D E M1 ... well bad, bad starting point Olympus ! Why don't you call it simply DeLorean DMC-12 ... from the Back to the Future film trilogy. It looks exactly the same as the car of that time !

not that expensive actually ... when consider that 5 scoops of the Golden Opulence Sundae cost about a thousand bucks ..and we are talking about an ice cream here .... something that can hurt your stomach stillness easy. Sell your house, sell your kidneys move your kids to a public school in North Korea and soon you will have that cash !

On DxOMark examines lenses for the Canon EOS 5D Mark III article (60 comments in total)

... "The average sharpness scores of the Canon EOS 5D Mark III matched the Nikon D800 and if the results were based solely on the mean average, the Canon actually out-performed the Nikon.!! " ... and more ... " Providing the camera is matched to specific lens models, sharpness can even exceed the Nikon D800 !!! Well .. well ...
