Kris in CT: I have had mine for about a month now. I don't see the CA they are talking about and I shoot raw. I have a set here, mostly on a D7100 and some with a D600. Maybe I missed it, but all their data is from Canon's 7D and 5Dm3. I think the lens performs very well on the D7100 and in general I have seen better samples from Nikon cameras then Canon on flickr. On the D7100 it tracks BIF very well. If you want to look at a few of my faves at various FL and Apertures all the exif is there

you may eat your words Kris ... please see my sample gallery at 500px.( http://500px.com/model_99 ) some of the images there are taken with this Tamron on a FF Canon 6D ... please, I wanna hear your comments !

RuthC: Congratulations, George Veltchev, on your well deserved win in this weekly challenge. This is a really beautiful capture of a butterfly against the softly-muted background, in pastel colours which enhance the bright clarity of the butterfly wearing its finest attire. Absolutely stunning, in my opinion. Ruth :-)

Thank you Ruth for your wonderful comments here ...appreciated !!!

No matter how advance this 1' sensor is .... the result is as good as a burnt popcorn with sour mayonnaise ... for $900 that's what you get !

At Studio Comparison both Panasonic DMC-FZ1000 and Sony Cyber-shot RX100 III, demonstrate unenviable level of noise at higher ISO, when face the one and only Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark II ( check for yourself ) ... if your main goal is IQ in relatively compact package then the Canon is a clear winner here ... end of story!

Sooo much stress around this little harmless noisy aphid ... but where are these photographic geniuses when you browse the photo challenges above, I wonder .... after the first top 3.. 4 images the rest seems a total garbage ....

RuthC: Fantastic picture, George! You have captured the impressive power and turbulence of the waves, and the diminutive size of that lone board rider gives us the perspective we need to appreciate the magnificence of the surf and sea. A very appropriate win for the challenge title. Ruth :-)

Thank you for the lovely comments Ruth ... once again !

By the way, is SP 150-600 resolving better than canon 100-400? Do you have comparison of something like moon photo taken with both?

Thanks mate ...I do not have any samples to compare both lenses, but I am really, really impressed with the new glass from Tamron !!!
