Thanks!
Maybe they lack a bit of contrast...I was really trying to retain the details in the black fur. I used fill flash and brought up the shadows in post processing.

Rich,
It was simply a matter of depth of field. The depth of field wasn't wide enough to allow for all the plants to be in focus--so I chose one.

Thanks Scott...didn't even catch the f/2.8 reference before.

David,
I usually go with 120 dpi, sRBG, 900 px on the long edge for screen. For print (which I don't do very often), I try for 300 dpi, aRGB. I usually use LR's Standard setting for output...

Yes...it is almost impossible to replicate the effect of a polarizer in post processing. The polarizer cuts through all that glare--and once the glare is there, it isn't easy to remove later.

Thanks Ann...fortunately this is a massive place. So, there's almost always something to shoot without too many people nearby.

Thanks David...#1 took some work to compose!
I really like the 200 f2 and try to use it whenever practical. My reasoning for buying the 200 f4 Micro is to use it specifically for macro photography....
