8 Mp actually, because I have an F750EXR.
But I feel it is a lot better to have my images all the same size, rather than to swerve unpredictably between 8Mp and 16Mp as happens in EXR mode.

I am glad to hear optical quality is good.
The Nikon AW1 looked attractive when it was introduced, but the 11-27.5 lens does not have stabilization. Also the basis J3 and V2 bodies clip highlights...

Bruce, all are beautiful. Your work is the best argument for Raw workflow on this forum.
In the final shot, did you make a fake starburst effect using an image editor, or is that how the lens...

Yes, these cameras use hardware EXR in M (medium) size. In L size they use software EXR. However you cannot get DR 800 and DR1600 in P mode, only in EXR mode.
Possibly true, but memory cards get...

Will Fuji ever issue an electronic viewfinder? I don't care, maybe you do.
Although touch enabled, the EPL5 LCDhas only 480K pixels and is widescreen so the image resolution is much...

The one you labeled as the X-M1 image isn't from the X-A1 either. Did you post the Raw conversions, or what?
-
You must have made a mistake with your download.
This is the actual ISO 6400 image from the X-A1

Or, do not use EXR mode. Setting M (medium) size with DR 400% uses EXR all the time and produces more consistent results.

Yes. Astia is good on cloudy days to warm up colors and increase shadow contrast. The slide film did the former but not the latter, however the alteration is good for overcast weather.
Velvia is...

Thanks! Google search did not show me this review yesterday.
The review says it will be available in black, blue, and (!) red.
In the Outdoor Images, DR 400 looks excellent compared to 100. Good...

With free shipping, even.
Red would look better with the black-only 16-50 lens, but I don't think the X-A1 is available in red even in Japan. (Many cameras, such as the Panny GF6, are available in...

I see it with Sigma - there is a big difference in detail and sharpness between Foveon and Bayer sensor. However colors are often wonky in the samples posted on DPreview. We all know about high ISO...

This is little more than a crop showing the ladybug more pronounced. I am impressed with the X10 at a pixel peeping level, even at L size (4000x3000).
You could select the ladybug and increase...

Potentially we will find out 5th October.
I am fairly excited about this camera. At $600 with 16-50/3.5-5.6 OIS lens, it seems super competitive with the Olympus E-P5, which apparently costs $900...

I put a Like on it. Yes it is good considering the poor light.
In the foreground are what appear to be inflatable whitewater rafts. What the heck?
-
All very nice except the first, which seems like a questionable selection, unless you have something in mind I didn't fathom.
Don't usually like B&W, but the bar portrait is nice and could be...

I was stupid enough to choose Minolta long ago. Never liked the Sony DSLR models. My full-frame lenses were insufficiently wide for APS-C and (except 50/1.4) not high enough quality for the A900....

Yes, in my case by not buying any camera with proprietary mount.
Guess that leave M43. Only.
-
Amen!
Thanks, I had a close look at that one (ISO 400).
It is hard to say whether the smudge (watercolor) effect is a way to make the image look better when downsampled. I doubt it, but am giving...

Phones yes.
Tablets are over-rated, according to three websites for which I follow statistics. Comparatively little use, truth be told. Perhaps the tablets are visiting other sites such as color...
