The 45-200 has excellent cost/performance - nice pictures

The exposure would be the same however, I feel the high contrast and sharpness of this lens combined with the shallow DOF it produces does make it ideal for this type of subject

Nice set - I think that the last B&W version shows that these images would be improved by converting where you add to the drama and interaction between the people and loose the attention grabbing...

Really like the second one where the light is exploding out from the middle giving intriguing shadows with great atmosphere.

The 20 1.7 is the only one on your list that moves the whole lens barrel physically to focus (maybe because it is a pancake) all the others move internal elements (much quicker and quieter). There...

IMO close-ups would have much more impact with this combination as the shallow DOF is then much more evident.
