How do you hold those things? Seriously, so awkward, no grip, just a slippery box. Not a great design at all. At least the Panny's give you something to hold.

You need to follow Sony if you want "something big"! Forget Canon and Nikon. They're living in the past.

Biological_Viewfinder: This review is nothing new at all.

I have purchased Panasonic cameras because of DPR reviews, and EVERY SINGLE TIME I WAS EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED.

I'm never going to fall for it again.

Someone better tell all the very happy Panasonic "GH" owners that they are junk. Me thinks they might just disagree with you!

Jogger: Im surprised that DPR is impressed with the 4k video. The reviews that ive read have not been impressed with it at all. I guess its another checkbox to check off.. but, it would have been better to provide higher bit rate 1080p.

what reviewers slam the 4k video?

Mr Physics: Dang. I've been a 12MP guy for quite a while now. It is my fundamental belief that if you can't say it with 12MP then you have a speech impediment. But this light writing machine has me drooling for a number of reasons: they've expanded the range of available (useable?) ISO by 2 stops over the D800 and 4 stops over the D700. If that translates to something noticeable in DR @ base ISO, then that is very big. They have that highlight preserving metering option which is potentially big (for me). I've blown too many highlights from white water fowl to not want this. And what if I'm wrong about 12MP being sufficient to completely record the light from a capture? This machine has me interested in moving beyond the D700 for the first time. Hmmm. I think Nikon hit it out of the ballpark on this one (maybe).

You guys need to seriously look at the new Sony a7s. It's got ya 12mp with better low light than the D4s! And all for $2500!!

12mp is only really good for posting on Facebook. Looks like most photogs out there will be fine! Doh.

I always laugh when someone wants stabilization with such a tiny focal length lens!

Reilly Diefenbach: Do the Pentax fans really need a review to tell them they want a 24MP Pentax?

Stupid argument. I'll take all the detail and "3d pop" from my Sony A7r over my 16mp camera any day of the week. Images just look better the more MP you have. Time for you to get a new computer dude. Mine handles 37mp raw images just fine.
I then have options. I can print large or crop. More MP is better, end of story!

Robertisha: I had an x-e2 before selling and getting me 5d mark 3. It was really fantastic camera Loved the colors I was getting. But the auto focus and the horrible battery life was the main reason I couldn't keep it. But overall it's fantastic camera ..fuji makes good stuff. But it's hard to go back to those small cameras. Once you use 5d mark 3 and 135 f2 it's game over hahaha. Happy Sunday everyone. And remember tools don't matter. It's just in our head specially in mine lol

Why does the wedding have to have good light to use the fuji? It has excellent high ISO capabilities and great low light lenses. Your wedding statement makes no sense?

Olivier 23: Looks nice. That ISO dial with a lock does bother me though. I imagine myself fumbling with that dial to change the iso setting while looking in the viewfinder and this could become annoying real fast.

Why not just set the camera up for the shot like most people do before taking the picture. Not sure why you would be "fumbling" to change iso settings with camera against you face?
