lacikuss: Nice collection of pictures. I have a very good idea of the camera's abilities in many fronts...

Everything is in focus, nice DR, great subject isolation, canon colors...etc.

my only beef is with the resolution, +2MP after 5 years is pretty few.

There are 4.5 million cone cells and 90 million rod cells in a human eye. So there is a long way to go.

tripodfan: Why is the cover photo upside down?

There is no auto rotate picture (180 dgrs) on the 7D Mk II. No gyro sensor on 7D Mk II ? Will facedetection work when you're face is upside down ?

Like the brochure of the 7D Mk II with that crossmotor. That frontwheel is standing "still". You don't see the rotationspeed in a blur effect. Welldone. Dear Canon, the 7D is the last one i bought from you. Sleep well.

How long will this 7D Mk II on the market ? 2 years ? What will other progressive brands do in the meanwhile ? I'm gonna buy that new Mk II logo and put it on my 7D.

DarkLoxodromy: On the sheet seems a little bit superior to D7100.
On which model should point a new buyer (photographically speaking not video).
I had always pointed on Nikon D7100 because 7D was outdated.
Now what do you suggest?

What size JPG ? Small, Medium or Large ? The 7D was good enough for fast sports like ice-hockey, basketball and even events like military flightshows. 10 fps you need when you make a groupphoto of 100 people or more where they have all there eyes open.

MediaDigitalVideo: Let me think, for downloading DPP 4.0. you need a serialnumber of 1 of those mentioned DSLR camera's ! ! ! !

Just put a random number and it worked also.

Hee Canon, you better should improve DPP 4.0 for more DSLR's with CR2 RAW file. Hurry up.

Black Box: Just wondering. Who would need a 200MP photo and what for? Isn't this just another megapixel race only on a much higher price level?

PS I'm very happy for Hasselblad, though. With Don Luca finally nursing his bruised [donkey], the company is returning to what it does well. The winter of our disconent is gone?

Google Earth.

rjjr: Who holds the copyright on the photos when a camera is set up in a forest and the shutter is triggered by a motion detector?

Camera's nowadays offer the possabilty to add EXIF info tags such as "copyright". If a photographer is smart he puts this info in his camera. So the copyright goes to the personsname written under the "copyright" tag nomatter who , other than the namesperson, takes the photo.
