The Oly 45 is a great portrait lens. If this can come close optically then it'll be a big seller. If this has a decent bokeh then it should give that creamy background blur that people crave.

You might also look at the fuji x10/20. I had an x10 for a while and now shoot an EP3. The x10 was fabulous. Would give you slightly better high iso than the Oly you are thinking about. Video...

Flash produces MUCH stronger light. Flash also allows you to balance ambient/flash light via camera settings. Of course you can't use the flash for video though.
