Fantastic video about photography; could care less about the D4S.
No bonus for the exec's this year :( This has gotta' hurt the P/L statement.
plasnu: I feel that Flickr is dying, very unfortunately. Their search engine and the way of show pictures is so unsophisticated...
I couldn't agree more!
EricAotearoa: To see a three minute time lapse of this scene taken by the photographer and a photo of him with his camera and lens, plus a background feature of him, go to http://www.stuff.co.nz/entertainment/arts/9082885/Lonely-star-photography-by-Mark-Gee. He has lived and worked in Wellington for the last ten years after emigrating from Australia.
Beautiful footage combined with a beautiful piano solo. 10/10!!
This is what the Nikon DF should have been . . . . IMO.
Still shooting with a D90 and still no firmware updates ;)
D.O.A. (Dead on arrival)
I would rather hear an announcement about the XPRO2
Every one of these images is in and of itself is a winner. In my opinion, there is no clear cut "best" image. This said I did cast my vote :) :)
FoveonPureView: A blessed, godly Jesus Christmas! Just incase you're affraid of the C/J/G-words...
Hey Simon! They call Dec 25th "Christmas" for reason.
He's made something out of nothing and I admire/respect the Fro for that. He does get on my nerves from time to time so I just turn him off.
cpkuntz: Disaster snuff porn is the best of 2013? I understand the journalistic value of such images, but not really the artistic value. To me, this is the most beautiful image captured by humanity in 2013:

That picture of Saturn is A M A Z I N G!!!! Thanks for sharing that ;)
dcperspective: No IS No Sale for me.
I hear this often, can you please explain why you would need image stabilization on a lens like this?
I have the original and all I can say is that this is a fantastic lens.
Simply said, "Not a chance".
I wish they would do a **serious** update to this program.
If Nikon builds this camera with a metal body and they follow the tradition of Leica and a minimalist approach, you bet I'm buying one. If this camera is what I think it will be, it will be my last. Less is more provided its quality.
My Lee Split Grads, 10 Stop, and polarizer are indispensable.
yabokkie: basically black-and-white photos are those that were not composed well.
To pull off a great B&W is far more difficult than color in my opion.
bigdaddave: What self-indulgent nonsense. Why does this deserve to be here?
I think you're being a little rough
