I would tend to agree. It was very much one of those 'spur of the moment' shots with no planning, so I had no flash available at the time - I don't count the on-cam flash as a flash :o)

Shame the horizon is crooked. Was also wondering what the light source from the right hand edge is?

That's indeed what panning is alright. Pretty much the same way I took this shot, with my feet and legs as the subject, shot from a rotating swivel chair. Or are you trying to intimate this is not a panning shot?
