Unbelievable! Amazing timing - beautiful cropping. Wow!!!!!! I just love this to pieces!!
Well, you nailed the intent of the challenge. And I voted for this accordingly. Good idea!
I think there were a lot of good photo's here, but this one really captured me. It's so cute, and well executed in contrast, color, composition. Just really nice!.
One of my 2 favorites! congratulations on the win!
What great perspective a well deserved win!
oh my - what a cutie you have here - great shot!!!
This is so unique… it stayed as a top photo all week as votes were entered. simple, and different. well done too.
I really really like this one!!! Well done!
NIce entry... The cropping just made this standout!
I had a lot of fun voting in this one. Lot's of fun stuff here!!
I am so glad this came out high in the results. I loved it!!!!
RuthC: So far, none of the entrants have plunged their squirrels into a tank of water to photograph! That effect is always popular with other subjects..... :-)
Probably because it just wouldn't be as attractive to photograph as The Flying Fish" was :)
Wildbegonia: Hi,Is there a reason why I am not able to upload photos to DP site? I am not able to pass the step "preparing for upload", once there, it has passed the whole morning and I was not able to upload a photo, just to see other entrants passing me by. Any problems with the site? Thanks
sometimes that happens with no real reason I can find. It probably doesn't relate to the challenge. What I do is try importing the photo to my gallery instead. sometimes that works when import to challenge fails.
OK. as the host, my rule on width was written wrong - I said megapixels and it should have said pixels. My mistake.
woweeeeeee ! I that were me , I'd sure want a copy. nice in every way! Congratulations on this win.
I'm surprised how many of these I really like, this one included!
me too, I laughed!!! very funny... it might really sell! I think it's a great book jacket!
Eye catching - most interesting view of these, and the sky just make the photo work so well. Congratulations on the win!
i really like the back of this bird. Those feathers really set off the big plumes so nicely. I was at a zoo recently and the colorful peacock was not showing off. Nice shot!
