Very frustrating to me that Canon handicaps their mirrorless presence with vin ordinaire products in order to protect their premier cru market. I can understand it as a corporate strategy but it's...

In my opinion one of the best camera bargains available. I've had one since 2006, bought another used last year, will probably buy another one this year.
Doesn't have many bells and whistles. ...

The biggest power drain on the system and no independent means of switching it off. Go figure. EVF or screen. Take your pick. Why Fuji doesn't have a third option - No Display - beats me.
But...

Thought about this for a few days. In particular an earlier comment which suggested the Fuji "needs good light". That had been my feeling too but it seemed ridiculous. Any camera would deliver...

For three years I used a Lumix G1 as my travel camera, augmenting the bigger Canons I use for commercial work.
Recently I bought the Fuji hype, sold the G1 and bought an X-E1 with the 18-55 kit...

For a supposed review site the house style has become cringingly embarrassing. This evaluation of software is a "showdown" of "contenders". The migration from Docklands to Hollywood is almost...

To the uninitiated the DPR review process seems astonishingly dysfunctional. I would have thought it in their own interests to have something like a review production line churning out reviews on a...

Interesting, thanks. But how does it work if they simply steal the bits from the screen and clone out the QR code?

As many have said, nothing's foolproof without investing a lot of time in every individual image. I'm happy to deter the professional thief from selling on the image. Unlike monkeys, the amateur...
