Most people see the Great Wall in closer to the east coast - some from Beijing, some from where it hits water. This is the other end - a tiny outpost in Dunhuang, middle of the desert, where civilisation stops and nothing begins. Exiles and criminals were sent beyond the wall here, never allowed to return. And this is the view from the wrong side of that wall...

June here on the Gold Coast means clear skies, mild temperature and an awesome charity event called the Colour Run! 5km fun run where everyone starts wearing all white - and gets covered in colour through 4 separate colour zones over 5km, then has a big party at the end - with more colour bags being thrown around! Heaps of fun - this is at the party at the end!

Any idea how I would go about changing the Exif data uniball? Do I need another program or can I do it through Aperture?
  • Where did you hear this about the Sigma 24 Art lens?? I'd love to get a good quality, 35mm equiv on my D7100!! Definitely agree with the thoughts - 24 + 85 on DX makes a good kit! OR to throw a ...

  • Submitted a challenge entry DSC_0062
Taken in Sossusvlei, Namibia 2010. I had only just bought my first DSLR (my first camera I ever owned myself - a D90) and this was my favourite shot of my entire time away. It was a long hike up with my friends before dawn, and the entire landscape was clouded for the first time that year! Just as we went to leave the fog started to lift, and I took this shot sitting down enjoying the last few moments before we had to trek down and leave again!
