thanks for your info!We are not accustomed in aircraft shooting-unexperienced shooter--but from your info I can just imagine the situation while we travel in a Plane and generally takes the pics through plane window!

RuthC: This is a captivating picture, rainrunner, and deserves a top place in this weekly challenge. There is a story behind your capture, which invites us to wonder why you are out there in the freezing c-c-c-old winter, with only Mt. Hood to keep you company. Beautiful colours of your lighted tent, and the white snows of the peak below the vastness of the starry sky. Ruth :-)

yes--you are true--pics was stunning-such type of pics are now common today-but stunning capture

I had give this pics 5 star--due to various particular positions of birds and the 4 birds did not over impose each other!

Sonyshine: So the D7200 is really what the D7100 should always have been - a cracking DX all-rounder camera with a PROPER SIZED buffer!

Now where is the D400.....

In fact, whole market has been going for Mirrorless with improved viewfinder, now people are using DSLRs APS-C and later will use full frame--Full frame are highly costly;in that cost you can buy a Car!Does Full frame slrs will be in market in next 5 yrs?Or DSLRS will be washed out totally like compact cameras? Now mobile cameras too shrinking DSLR market!

Gazeomon: My last Nikon was a D300s and it's going to stay that way. I'll give it to my nephew along with all the Nikon glass. Nikon simply fails to excite me as it once did. These comatising iterations are nothing but a blatant money grabbing exercise. I have moved away from Nikon because the D400 never arrived and never will. DX Canon, Samsung, Sony and Pentax is where I am looking with interest.

My Nikon D300 is not very bad in focusing and Dynamic range-it produces accurate lighting in some very low light situations and other conditions. But I am not very happy from Colours by Nikon.Canon is good from colours, but Dynamic range is less than Nikon. In lower models like Nikon 3100 Dynamic Range is bad.The battery life of 3100 is not so good if you use it in Videos.Canon also tends over expose in their some cameras! But canon lens system is unique-my 20 yrs old 35-80mm canon has been still working with some fungus kept in a Almirah carelessly in our very damp weather. This lens was not weather resistant too & comparatively less fungus than 3rd party lenses Sigma/Tamron.But at last I want to add one thing--Tamron SP24-135 WAS an incredible lens--was so sharp!
