Personal review and experience--SIGMA 35 ART 1.4>VERY sharp like razor even at 1.4/great focus speed and sometimes it misses>this lens has distortion--though many reviews do not tell you!

Does 20mm 1.4 Art sigma can give error less lens?

In reply to:

ZJ24: I don't really take awards too seriously but I'm interested in the description of the D750.
"The Nikon D750 is probably the most complete enthusiast camera we've ever encountered."
Nice it received a joint award, unsure about the "enthusiast" tag. Similarly the D7200 was reviewed as an "enthusiast stalwart".
I would see enthusiast as below prosumer, which is below semi-pro, which is below pro. Lot of people making good money with the D750 shooting weddings, I realize the buttons and body are perhaps not fully pro but it has two card slots - I don't see the A7RII ever described as an enthusiast body because it has one card slot, 300 shot battery life, is not fully weather sealed, has a limited buffer etc. I think the A7RII is worth its awards, it just always seems a little arbitrary what features are considered semi-pro or pro.

Nikon D750 is the Great King ,But not the Emperor!Because shutter is 1/4000 .My old Nikon D300 has 1/8000!But image quality is far better! Pro-like camera--but Nikon spoiled its dignity as an Emperor-its mistake-major is 1/4000!Yes we do not need 1/4000but sometimes-- should given it--it is FX and ahead of Nikon D300!Can some software upgrade the shutter speed?

LCD screen is rotatable--but not 360.Lower models like 3300 have.LCD of Nikon d750 is vulnerable from accidental hit! I have seen many reviews but they did not mention it.The plastic of the flash is also not like my D300!Low grade.

I can move command dials by pressing the lock and then I can move P,A.S etc.It is very cumbersome. When Fuji XT1 can give easy command dials at low price why 750 can't?Emergency situations need such easy command dials. Birding s too.

So Nikon should 1)Easy dials 2)360 LCD rotation .Dusts accumulate below 750s LCD.3)1/8000 shutter 4)Focus points screen 5)Multiselector button improvementEdges sharp

On article Nikon D750 service advisory warns of shutter issue (342 comments in total)
In reply to:

Charlie boots: Nikon has discovered an issue and has proactively issued a service recall. Excellent and responsible customer service. Can't understand why everyone is making such a fuss. Auto manufacturers do this all the time and it works well. Nikon makes excellent Dslr's, and has for the past 15 years. Nikon's first SLR, the F1 dates from 1959 and changed the world, I have one and it still works perfectly including the meter. My original nikkor AI lenses still also work perfectly on my D300, D700 and D800E all of which have never had any issues. What a great company and what great products.

Not only Nikon now Pentax too!Now giving an advisory has been a running fashion!QC down and Customers should now rethink before buying to avoid unwanted issues related with Service! You bought a New car and very Next day Service!!!!

mayurgogoi: Just 2-3 days ago I have read an advisory warning--"New Nikon D750 service advisory: possible image shading from shutter""--published in various web site--just on 9th JUly,2015--these advisory warnings are becoming a fashion now!Nikon D750 had many complains and now again such notice are on the web!!Now advisory warnings from Pentax???

Well--what hell is going on in camera Industries?Nikon, Canon and now Pentax has down in its quality maintenance---

why today camera companies are so careless? After Paying a huge sum of investments no one willing to get such awkward situation---I totally dislike it!We feel insecure while buying a product though it may be Nikon,Canon or Pentax etc....

Quality control should be strictly followed because to get service many not be so easy as we think and it is still a headache in 3rd world or developmental countries.

This is like we are on an unsteady Ship in deep Sea!

ya....

Mato34: Obviously this issue announcement from Pentax is trying to counteract the recent issue Nikon and Panasonic announced regarding the D750 and G7.

MP war is over. Megazoom war is over. The issue war has just began!! Sony, Olympus, Samsung are eager to get into this also!!

Now old camera companies has been obsessed ,fatty, over weight! So QC gone down!""Do not worry be happy!""-Customers will get service notice in future too!

I humbly request all camera companies to retain best QCs--may be universally approved Quality Control by a neutral body!
