Boy! Do those photo's bring back memories. Most of us who served then were not exactly thrilled to be there. We all lost very, very good friends. But we had a job to do. We tried to do the best we could and to survive. I don't think any one in the bush was pro-war.
If you look at the base of the turret, you will see drops of oil still leaking, after 71 years from the Arizona's oil bunkers. They're the Tears of the Arizona.
Beautiful. I was there in 2009 and Mt. Rushmore at night is just awe-inspiring, even more so than during the day.
