Yikes, it's pretty bad at 16mm, ghosting, corners, etc. I think my expectations were too high. It's probably fine for what it is, a tiny +$150 kit lens. I stupidly was hoping for more. I'm sure...

So, the vignetting is from a camera effect? It's a bit harder to tell with that vignetting, but is it just me or are the corners quite blurry @ 16mm?
