You are right I felt the same: she is a Tamil woman from a slum near Siddaiah Road in Bangalore. She is poor; her hut must be 3 by 3 meter.My motorbike mechanic is close by and the slum is like an island in between all the Muslim houses...
Then why "The veiled smile": because all her friends were around her making her laugh and she laughed the whole time behind the veil and I can still see it...
