I'm a massive fan of Billingham bags. I still use one I bought 30 years ago but have just bought a new one (445) which should hold what you have mentioned. Have a look at their website, although I...

Thanks guys, there's some really helpful comments there.

Thanks for the reply, guess I should have specified budget; which is up to about £1,500, but including a decent monitor.

As my old 17" laptop seems to be dying, and failing to cope with newer software, I've started looking around for a new desktop to replace it. Just about any new PC will deal with office programmes...

I did lots of research online. The website cambags.com is particularly useful. Search for and read other reviews of bags you're interested in and make your decision. then find the best price. I...

I was in the same position a few months ago. As others have said the best route is to try both in-store. This is exactly what I did (thank you Park cameras). In the end I decided on the 5Diii; it...

Just ordered a Billingham 445 having spent hours pouring over this forum and wandering around with a tape measure. My 30 year old Billingham is just not big enough for a 5Diii and lenses, as it...

Hi all. Can anyone tell me if this head will comfortably take the weight of a Canon 5Dm3 and Canon 70-300 L lens? Don't want to splash out if not!
Thanks

How about the Voigtlander 20mm Color Skopar. It's tiny but not bad at all.
-
How about the Voigtlander 20mm. Its tiny and will slip in a pocket for when you want a bit wider than 24. That and the Samyang should cover everything! :-D
-
Q. Can you recommend which is the best lens for me to buy, my budget is £100.A. No!
-
Another vote for the 24-105. I add the 70-300L for length and voigtlander 20mm for width. If I fancy carrying a bit more, add the Samyang 14mm. It's all fairly heavy, but could be worse!

Now Park Cameras know how to run a camera store. I just like their operation and went to their Canon open day before buying my 5Diii.
-
Another vote for the X10. It's never going to match a FF SLR, but as a take it anywhere camera it works for me.
