  • Relatively soon, yes.
  • If I am understanding you correctly, I think this intentional. Or, at least, this is what happened when I did something very similar. It retains the original value (of course, you can edit this) ...
  • Replied in my 40 mm GR!
Don't really have anything really worthwhile to add, so just wanted to commend you on this and say this thread was a very interesting read.
  • Replied in Fancy GR Case
Looks decently constructed, but there's no way I'd ever want to use this. I don't see how those buttons would be able to be used very easily. Grip area (in terms of handling) seems to be severely ...
  • As someone that also runs, I'm curious, how would you plan on carrying it with you?
  • The in-camera RAW processing tip is a good one. I haven't even been using Lightroom or any other software lately, been doing all my procesing straight from the camera
  • Replied in Costa Ricoh
Don't really have any constructive criticism for you, I like a lot of these shots (especially the Playa Grande and Monteverde Rainforest series). And nice thread title, missed it on the first ...
  • I don't even remember even seeing this thread and I lurk here often. Very nice shots.
  • I see no reason why the iPhone wall charger wouldn't work for in-camera charging. You can probably by an adapter for pretty cheap. The wasabi charger w/ 2 batteries comes with an adapter, which is ...
  • This is really nice. Good recognition and execution on this. Would be interested in seeing a B&W version, as well, just to see how it compares, but it looks fine as is.
  • Replied in Hotshoe cover
Can confirm what photoreddi said. Bought generic BS-1 covers off ebay, as I lost my cover, as well, and there is a tiny gap. Gap is pretty inconsequential IMO.
  • It is my only camera (besides my phone, but that doesn't really count for much), not completely by choice. I occasionally miss not having a longer focal length, but I knew what I was getting ...
  • Your second reaction was precisely my initial reaction, as well, so I'm glad you were able to articulate it better than I could. Still not sure how I feel about the particular shots, but I do know ...
  • Thanks for the context. To be honest, when I saw the thread title and then opened the post to find pictures of some less fortunate individuals, I almost wanted to scoff at the inherit cliche-ness. ...
  • Out of curiosity, where did you meet these two people and what motivated you to take their picture?
  • What do they plan on doing? Love diners, looks like somewhere I'd go. Very nice pictures, too.
  • No clue what you're looking for, but I'll throw this one out there. http://www.manhattanportage.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=373 Not cheap, but way less money than you'd pay for a Head ...
  • Bought the Sony because of the discussion here and the fact it was cheap. Works well enough but it's hardly a necessity for me. I prefer using the LCD screen to be honest.
  • Guess it somewhat depends on how much value you place on having the only flash that supports TTL metering for the GR. I think owning a flash in general is a good thing, if you don't already have ...
  • Non-expert, unexperienced opinion: if the price is right and assuming you can afford to gamble on it, I'd say you're not mad. People are still doing great things with this camera on Flickr and ...
