They can't bring the same camera capabilities in Win or And or iPhone because the whole phone would be too expensive - the Symbian OS was extremely efficient (one of its strengths) and the hardware...

The big surprise for me is that you can't use it as a phone. It's just a connected camera. There's probably somebody that might wants something like that...maybe...

I've heard the data contract is required as well (no sharing your existing data plan). Bit of an odd design (why not make it a full mobile phone...), best of luck to Samsung with it.

Yeah, you have to read the story before commenting - they mention in it they will have a more lengthy review coming with comparisons to other smart phone camera's.

The rock in the water looks much better on the 4S and the water fall is in shadow in the 4S....for phones they are obviously good cameras, but I don't see the 5's camera being significantly better...

This is a small spot of where the world has changed over the last couple of years, where phones have basically taken over a huge chunk of the low end P&S market and DPReview should report on them. ...

They kept it the same width and only made it a little taller, you can still easily do everything with one hand (which is their "test), definitely not following Samsung and HTC.

Probably not for a while. Nokia isn't even "announcing" when they'll release the phone until the 4th quarter....

The sensor being that small is rather disappointing, but the F number and IS are very enticing details, I look forward to real reviews to see how it performs.
