I am not sure about I like it at highISO, there seems like pretty heavy handed NR even in RAW there and I am not sure if it can rival against the great Sony rX1.

don't do it , I did it a year ago, went almost 100 percent Nikon with the D800E from 3 system kit.
the D800E at base ISO is great.
