    At first glance, I thought these were cut logs, but they are coconuts ready for the final cut to add the rum. 
The colour image shows primarily as pastel colours with little contrast.  The repetitive image has much more contrast in B&W.

    The icy aftermath of a terrible ice storm that hit north-eastern US and southern Canada right around Christmas, 2013.  Tens of thousands of trees in the Toronto area were damaged or destroyed by the thick layer of ice.  Made for some beautiful desolate images.
