Absolutely agree with the first part of your comment. That the CaNikons got reviewed just weeks after release and the K5 II nine months after is inexcusable. I hope DPR got the message.

Maybe Pentax is targeting a different crowd that like to research the market themselves. All they need to do is keep making great cameras and lenses.

IS not useful with fixed wide angled lens cameras. The Fuji X100s costing $500 more (with a lens equivalent of 35 mm) also does not have IS .

Comparing images isn't comparing cameras. Both cameras have APS-C sized sensors and without AA filter. The Fuji X100s is better than most APS-C DSLRs except the Pentax K-5IIs, image wise.
