The price difference can't just be explained by taxes. It's too big, unless Brits pay taxes to Sigma so they offer their lenses cheaper in the US.

I don't think the difference will be so dramatic...

still a great sensor capable of much more than the average Joe can get out of it.

dslr's don't have EVF's they got something better. It's called OVF.

It's not compact, it doesn't have a flash, it has a slow zoom and no viewfinder and it costs more than everything else.

Pro: No rash inducing white sediments

the K-5's are not firmware limited because pentax has to sell more expensive models. That is a great advantage.
