Looks like a Rose to me.
Looks like a Rose to me, not a blossom.
britepixels: Why was mine disqualified?
There are other pictures with similar format.
A little bit like mine, Rhododendron blossom confused with a I don't know what, a farce!
Nice bird but the green seems to be missing.
The alpha should be green to fit the Theme of the challenge.
Reading the rules of a Challenge maybe helpful.
Not a blossom, a flower.
Hand-held or tripod, great image, lots of resolution.
Wonderful image, love it! Congratulations on first place.
Great shot and congratulations on second place in the Challenge, I apologize for the wrong comment I made about the date, obviously reading too fast.
This is a beautiful portrait of this Ape and deserving of first place in the Challenge. I spent two days in Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park but was not able to witness something like this. Congratulations.Jean-Marie
Steve Throndson: jmgir, The shot was done some time ago with a film camera on a tiny tripod taped to the Yamaha's gas tank. It looks faster than it was. I had the shutter on 'B' and held my finger down for a few seconds. I tried 3 or 4 frames, and this was the only one that wasn't blurred beyond recognition. Steve
Thank you Steve, good story, enjoy the weekend.Jean-Marie
Just can't believe the sandbagging for this challenge!!!
Hello Steve, how fast were you going on this ride. Love the lights.
Lexo is back !!!
photoman555: Just wondering why the winner got DQ? Does anyone know?
I fully agree with photoman555, entries should be DQ'ed before voting starts so members don't waste their time voting for images that shouldn't be there and also for a fair ranking.
The Mick: Very intriguing image! It's a shame to see a high-end place like that destroyed. Wonder what happened?
Great image, congratulations.
I would have cropped it a bit more to decrease they negative space, great colours.
One more angry bird, so much like the Angry Blue Bird, a wonderful image, congratulations.
