Martin.au: The good news: birds are dinosaurs. The bad news: lizards, crocodiles, goannas, turtles, etc are not. They branched off before dinosaurs.
Birds and crocodiles are extant species that share a common ancestory with dinosaurs. Birds, flying reptiles & dinosaurs are lumped into the Ornithosuchia branch. Dinosaurs and crocodiles have the Archosaur as their common ancestor despite evolving separately as species. All species have evolved & there are no dinosaurs existing today, except for some stubborn, narrow minded anthropoids masquerading as homo sapiens. The overiding issue however, is that it is highly inapropriate to comment on open challenges, as you have, as it influences the way people vote. It is not up to you to enforce your personal poi or rules. People should make up their own minds on what image is appropriate in consideration of the host's brief.
You obviously suffer from reading comprehension disorder or you are just a little low on IQ

A few really good shots in this one....& those who are ignorant of life & photography & think "creepy" & say "creepy" are those that *are* creepy.
Perfect for street shooting East Side Detroit
RaptorUK: "You must only submit images that are safe for general public viewing, e.g. no nudity. "
"Nudity or nakedness is the state of wearing no clothing."
toothless wrapped up raptor, the sheriff of DPR Challenges. What a d head.
Ha! Another ridiculous result. Good images like:14th - http://www.dpreview.com/challenges/Entry.aspx?ID=656382&View=Results&Rows=418th - http://www.dpreview.com/challenges/Entry.aspx?ID=657848&View=Results&Rows=422nd - http://www.dpreview.com/challenges/Entry.aspx?ID=657417&View=Results&Rows=426th - http://www.dpreview.com/challenges/Entry.aspx?ID=657375&View=Results&Rows=4get voted down & poorly composed, mind numbing boring images do heaps better.
These challenges have become a real joke.
Quite a few really good images here. Good to see.
How ludicrous. How can anyone possibly take DPR seriously with results like this.
So funny. Obviously few people know what "High Key" is. The most important of whom should have been the host. Ludicrous. No one including the host seems to have bothered Googling it. Ha! :D
Zuph: There is nothing in the rules stating that there has to be a human in the picture!!!!!!!!!!!! Follow the rules you gave us!!!!!!!!!!
The first sentence of the description says "portrait of a windbag" So unless your shot is of a person "being" a wind bag, an inflated balloon, a hessian bag filled with air, or something such like, it doesn't qualify.
pdcm: Another rights grab. Disgraceful. and shame on dpreview for putting this up.
@ R Butler.....Sounds cheap to me. This is all too common these days. Large Corporations taking advantage of & using amateur imaging enthusiasts who are naively looking for some sort of professional accreditation & happy to accept paltry returns for their effort.
Better all round if Intel & Canon were to contribute to the flagging US & World economy by being professional & placing their business in the hands of other professionals & the struggling US Ad industry.
l_objectif: The theme says: Alone "By one's self....no one else around"But I see shots with more than one person! Shouldn't they be removed?
It is valid to make a complaint public. Nothing crude about it.
