As I was walking away I took this shot on the spot.  I thought I would tell a story. This was taken with my Canon 7D  and F/4 24-105L.  Aperture was set at f/4 and shutter speed 1/1000.
  • Excellent and beautiful photographs!  Where is this located?

Hey Trevor that makes total sense to me and I will make note of that.  I just purchased a 10 stop ND filter that I can't wait to try out!

It would be interesting to print this on metal instead of traditional fine art paper.

I am very happy to hear you enjoy this piece.  Would this be classified as fine art?

That is good to hear.  I didn't want the viewers eye to be bouncing from place to place but I also did not want to Photoshop this to death.

An image I took when I was just starting out in photography and taught myself.  I thought it would be fun to share this since I have grown.
  • Thank you for the positive feedback.  I bought a Saunders enlarger and darkroom kit off of Craig List and should start to work on building a darkroom.  This will be the first negative I will work on.
  • Thank you for the comments. Like I said I do not have the means right now to process my own film and had to outsource this to a local photo lab.

Taken with my Mamiya 645 1000S and lens used was the 80mm.  Next time I'm going to go back and use the telephoto. I did my best to clean the negative before scanning this but unfortunately I did ...

Lately the weather has not been great and the lighting has been very harsh but I decided to not let that stop me.  Given the harsh light and shadows I decided to focus more on the shape and ...
