fastprime: Can someone explaing/expand on what he meant when he said:
"With this camera you can focus at a combined aperture of F8, which isn't possible with the D7000."
I'm guessing with the D7000 if you use a slower lens and an extender, if the combined f stop is F8 or less then you will lose auto focus.
Thanks for the article, I hope to get some new lenses and a FF camera before I go so I can take advantage of the chance to photograph some beautiful landscapes.

Great picture, I see so many foxes where I work, but I've never been able to get a picture of one as good as this.
350 years is not very old in terms of trees, maybe in Alberta. There are a few trees around 5000 years old in California.
Edit: just saw that you meant oldest living tree in the area, sorry!
