Well, that's a simple question to answer... when a m43 camera with adaptor can focus 43 lenses at full speed; that's all people want.

Believe me, I think there's some great m43 lenses and I have serious gear-lust over the EM5 but there's also a lot of great 43 glass already in existence that doesn't deserve to be forgotten.

Definitely, the R&D costs of converting all the HG & SHG lenses vs. the cost of updating the E5 with a new sensor, I'm no expert but I can guess what would be cheaper... m43 already has the best...

Another option for a E50/E7 camera could be to use a transparent mirror with an EVF, but still swing the mirror out the way when you take the shot... you'd get PDAF, a potentially large, bright EVF...

There's nothing stopping you putting a Panasonic stabilised lens on an Olympus body.
