Yeah, folds would be distracting.
I think black is hard to light with just two lights. Like I said, matter of taste.
You could call it a hair light how you've used it, looks like a bit of flash...

I don't know why they don't take the same sensor and shutter, put it in a D800 body and call it a D710.

The ultimate multi-use item is a SPACE BLANKET: - A gear separator more useful than the foam things - Biggest reflector you can get - Save your life if trapped in the cold - Waterproof as poncho...

I think they're adorable.
I would have preferred a little light on the background, maybe a bit more kicker light - but that's a matter of taste.

@naththo That is the weakest defense I've ever heard. Their behavior and ineptitude is indefensible.
-
Yeah, it's just a reflection because you're looking at the "wrong" surface of the prism due to the extreme angle.

I don't think so either. Maybe the 70-300 or 80-400 if you want to go long.

Are you talking about replacing the 24-70/2.8? Hm, then the 50 1.8.

That's probably a better name. Googling "Understanding Explosure" prompts Google to autocorrect it to 'exposure'. Good luck! I'm gonna tweet that link.

You should write a how-to post on "How to get people to do crazy stuff". ;))

True. That's a nice one too. Nice performance! It's not for me, but you have to give credit where it's due.

@Jesper Only with the Fuji X-series. The JPEGs are just so ... nice! I live and die by Raw when shooting my DSLR.
-
Good point tho, even if you didn't see the link. I shoot Raw + JPEG and usually end up deleting the Raw unless some extreme shadow or highlight recovery is necessary. I don't know, though, I...
