I agree. Captured bird or free, this is a stunner.
I don't know what nfpotter is complaining about, but it looks like his gallery is full of fairly well done wild birds.

Nice shots!
The one with the frog is a classic. Lucky!
What lens were you using if you don't mind my asking?
-
I'll never make fun of the EOS-M! I'm a Nikon guy, I make fun of the V1 ;)
-
That's a heartbreaking story well-told like only a professional photojournalist can.
-
Very impressive image. Thanks!
-
Look at the samples. I'm not talking about onion bokeh. Looks almost like mirror lens "ring" bokeh. Don't shoot the messenger! I'm a sigma lover too.
-
I sometimes wish I had taken the e.
I shoot it like any other camera.
-
Wow, that's the weirdest spot I've ever seen.
+1 clean and forget, but thanks for sharing first. ;-)
-
Uh, yeah. I have and covet my Sigma 35 f1.4.

@jamflash Uh, yeah. I have and covet my Sigma 35 f1.4.

Hm. Pretty ugly ring bokeh but very interesting nonetheless.

He's got a point - about about the flowers, you know?

The waterproof compact is such an under reported, yet desirable product range. I've bought more waterproof compacts that DSLRs over the years. Fun to have!

I'm a gaffer:
Popup flash: all cameras
PASM selection dial: D7000
That silly 1/3 exposure switch: x100s
When in doubt, gaff it up!
-
They specifically said it was much better that the D7100. The only AF 'issue' I remember was something about video.
-
Tilt, shift and rotate sensor? Novel idea.
-
Great shots! The fill flash on the tiny owl really makes him pop.
-
I seem to remember seeing that one time - it's been a while though.
