The back of the 6D picture above appears to have a couple of strips of spare electrical tape coming from the side of the camera. Good heads up thinking by Canon to plan ahead.

A discontinued D7000 might be an indicator that the APS-C D400 is coming. Or more likely D7100 with the D3200 chip.
Looks like it didn't get the PC and 10 pin connectors from the D300/700/800.
Fantastic! I was considering a used D700 as a second body to my D800. This is just in time.
Re: The lens rental recommendation with the PC; tilt shift in DX mode is better than no tilt shift at all.
I agree with ybizzle. I'm a die hard Nikon user for 15+ yrs and I seriously considered the 7000 and 7100 for my wife but ended up getting the x10 instead. And this was pre Orbgate. I haven't...
Hopefully this will be the beginning of the end to overbaked HDR.
