ogl: Why this 75/1.8 is so big?
Maybe for it is an MSC lens with onboard focusing motor?BTW I think this 75/1.8 will be about 60 mm x 70 mm (D x L).
SteveNunez: I'd like to see Sigma also support the other lens mounts such as Samsung NX, Pentax Q, the new Fuji mount etc as less expensive alternates to the OEM offerings. It seems as if only m4/3 and NEX systems are supported.(read Samsung has not opened their lens mount specs to outside lens makers, shame.)Thumbs up to Sigma for supporting these new popular standards.
+1 to iudexOne more thing: NX has flange-back distance of 25.5 mm while mFT and E have 20 and 18 mm, respectively. Would the Sigma 30/2.8 design fit this requirement?
urix: Great! But...
There is 'The Art of HDR Photography, part 4' in the 'Articles: Photo Techniques' category, but you won't find there previous chapters of this multi-part text. Moreover, the only way to read them is to search the site for them. Oops! They live in 'Learn: Guides' section which is inaccessible from the main page.
I think you should reorganize your old articles to fill up this new section.
Well done! Thanks you :)
urix: It looks like Oly and Fuji were given a little advantage. At ISO 1600 they have overexposed the frame by 1/3 EV: F6.3+1/500 and F8+1/640 vs. F6.3+1/640 and F8+1/400 used with Lumix G3, NEX-5, EOS 600D and 5100D.
Well, why there's no shutter speed in camera settings shown in the comparator?
5100D = Nikon D5100, of course. Sorry :)
