jrtrent: In the "My best picture this week" challenges, I ask myself if the picture I'm looking at was worth taking. The incident you related and the picture you took are both delightful; happy reminders of cherished people and events is what photography is all about.
thanks, Grand Kids are my favorite pics, they are also use to Pops camera(s)....
Definitely a sun set...
Some of these are not reenactments!

rickspencer4: I'm really appreciating mine. Shot a movie at a school function at full zoom, hand held and I was amazed at the clarity and steadiness considering I was holding it up in the air. https://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=2355594855459

I've been shooting for 3 weeks. Leaving the 50D at home. So far I'm impressed, I have been carrying it everywhere, which is nice. With the weather changing, not as many shooting opportunities. Christmas will provide some opportunity....
penguinman: It was disappointing to find out that the recommended camera pack, Lowe-Pro AWII is not available anymore.
Nice Steve, reading down I'm thinking what a bashing your getting and how I would be replying to some of the wanna bees, I liked your shots. and I'll never be professionally traveling, I do shoot local events and found a few suggestions from your post.
Happy shooting....
Amazing shot....
Very cool.....
Interesting to read all the reviews. The comment that the article was for us "amatures" is probably correct. We need the basic stuff, you PROs already know this stuff, so are you writing your own articles!
Nice....
At one point this week I looked seriously at the 7D,( and not buying an advanced PS ) I'm shooting a 50D now and still learning all the features it has....
Reading all the reviews, the PROs are all the place with opinions. I want to know IF you are buying a P/S today, $500.00 to $600.00 dollars, what are you picking!!
