I have read some stupid comments before, but yours is up there with the best of them.

JackM I have read some stupid comments before, but yours is up there with the best of them. Meh indeed.

Now that first sentence is amusing coming from someone who can't even use a simple apostrophe in accordance with accepted grammatical rules.

Have to agree, I think that they have definitely changed their focus, which is fine, but they lose a bit of credibility when they do a preview for a camera and write words to the effect 'we are...

If you'd seen or held a G5 you would know that it is not a 'DSLR sized camera' and it certainly doesn't have DSLR sized lenses.
It's also far better ergonomically than the OMD, and Panasonic don't...

Regarding the build quality, a German magazine tested DSLRs and M4/3 cameras specifically for build quality. The GH3 came out ahead of the pack, with the G5 level with the OMD, very high on the...

Yes, camera breaks under warranty, gets replaced or repaired and we all live happily ever after. I think too many people invest too much emotional energy in inanimate objects these days, although I...

G5 is a great choice. I don't think that you'll be disappointed. Ergonomically it is great, feels just right to me, and IQ is pretty stunning.
