I can't swear or I'll get kicked out again. But please imagine disappointed swearing for such a terrible waste of time from Nikon. They should be developing other lenses not concocting CR@P.
I'd take the set happily for the price.
Don't tell the Chinese.
Raist3d: Not to license to a same entity permanently and forever- nope. And forget any of my images I would consider in the fine art and not stock category.
I don't understand why they decide to roll back on photographers setting their pricing. At first it seemed like a huge step forward for the right thing but now again- no.
photography is easy enough if you're snapping away. I was once asked to shoot an underground carpark to sell of the car spots in the middle of busy Sydney. The place was dark and dull. Very limited lighting. It was a chore but they printed brochures and gave me money. The lens and camera are technical tools. I think it's rather naive for you to say what you did.
Horshack: hmm, SRAW on the 16MP D4s but not the 36MP D800.
wow, paying attention... something worth paying for, 8mp small RAW. Maybe.
where does it say SRAW??
Zvonko: Ken Rockwell will now cement his review and tell me on my Facebook. What I already know.
I'm sure he wrote either/or?? I reckon he was close to the mark.

the future looks good
not enough to upgrade at all. At least for once.
nah, not enough over the one I have
what's 4/3rds??? do Nikon or Canon make it??
Photo Pete: A firmware update prompted by the upcoming Nikon D4s no doubt.
Always makes me wonder why such features weren't in the original firmware... but reassuring ongoing support nontheless.
the Nikon D4s should've been a firmware upgrade announcement.
Zvonko: ridiculous that Nikon thinks this is an upgrade
there are rumours which suck
ridiculous that Nikon thinks this is an upgrade
this announcement isn't an announcement
how much do they pay??
actually looks like one of Thom Hogans old predictions coming true.
just curious; I remember some rumours about a manual shutter as well??Just seems this camera may be geared towards wedding shooters. I don't have problems with the dial front and back of my D4/800 but it would be nice to have the old lift and set dial which used to lock down spring loaded. That would offer the best security in keeping your exposures where you want them to be. Current dials may brush against clothing and change settings (though I never have this problem).I still own D lenses while I have a few G plus I still have a case full of manual lenses... if this thing has 24MP and a good manual sync speed then it could be a cool tool.
when can I have one?? and how many MEGApixels??
