Artpt: To All,
So is there a website that does not allow image saving or copying? Could a flash based site be more secure?
With sincere interest and kind regards,
if you see an image on a webpage its already in your cache locally
"Sony might bring curved-sensor technology to smartphone"
Just the one? or is your grammar appauling.
Rick Knepper: Some of these courses are so old that they include topics such as how to load a roll of film, High Resolution: Is 2 MPs the outer bounds?, and my favorite, How to pick the right lab.
and yet that's probably all people load their images onto facebook, flickr, 500px et al
steelhead3: A fun exhibition...I do wonder why the British are so enthralled with the past?
if the USA had a past worth anything then youd understand. A country only a few hundred years old means nothing.
were they Leica specific rubber bands? £20 each?
cant be true, when they have a product that really is in demand (800 , 800e) they hike the price 2 weeks after release and try and fob us off with some lame ass excuse
Rocky Mtn Old Boy: Awesome snap of P. Newman... the chainlink makes it look like he has big scales covering his body.
EssexAsh: a set of mediocre snaps only of interest because some actor took them.
go on then oh wise ones, explain them and why theyre so good? give me an educated critique of these masterpieces?
They are simply point and shoot snaps of a bunch of people some actor knew. No thought went into them apart from maybe number 2.
a set of mediocre snaps only of interest because some actor took them.
Stephen123: There’s a pretty big Sony vs. Canon question in what color those arches bait up and left of center look to the human eye. Sony has them white and a bit blown out. Canon has them warm and detailed. If they are cream or yellow to the human eye then Sony is screwing up. If not, Canon is screwing up. It’s not like it’s a small difference.
you do realise the lighting in those areas is just simply different across photos?
Does the adobe calibration turn on lights in office blocks then? what new function is that in CC? Even more reason not to get it if thats the case.
i dont think the arches are lit for the canon, theyre just getting light from the bulbs at their base. For the A7 the arches have been turned on.
the lights in the tower block to the left are on on the 2nd floor from top for the a7 and off for the canon. Might explain the colour difference in the arches since the lighting is clearly different at some points. Were the light arches pulsing at all? Were they even lit up for the canon at that point in time?
Also surprised the A7S shows exactly the same detail as the A7R depsite a third of the resolution.
nycgazelle: Jesus Christ People! I can't believe all the stupid complainers about this. 9.99 is two cups of coffee a month. Life is expensive...THIS most certainly isn't. I like it because for the first time in years..I did buy photoshop at full pop once...I can have current versions and not pirate it. I feel great about giving Adobe 10 bucks a month because its an amount I don't even think about when it auto deducts. This prevents everyone who couldn't plop down X amount of dollars at once for the software to pay a modest fee and feel good about themselves and enjoy a tremendously awesome product.
wake up and smell that coffee will you. Renting software isnt for the benefit of the user. ever.
if it had big chunky off road wheels then i can see a use. But really, whats the point!
"Well your long, nightmarish wait is over"
Just because amazon dont sell it so you cant provide a click through doesn't mean you have to make facetious comments. DPR used to be a quite respected site.
"By dpreview staff"And you dont even have the balls to stand by your comments.
"photographer Art Wolfe has built perhaps one of the strongest brands in his field."
Who? Guess his brand could be better. Whoever he is.
and my trusty old fuji x10 blows them all away.
hand built doesnt really mean much when all they do is screw a few circuit boards in.
Sony A7R with a leica M adaptor if you must use those lenses
