Sorry, my language was confusing. What I mean is that the DP1x, while not as good as the DP1merrill, is still better than OM-D. But perhaps that isn't the case anyways, according to some replies...

Thanks! The DP1x is on sale for 350.....seems like a good deal. I have an OM-D and really only shoot landscapes. Seems like the DP1x, though not the DP1M, will still produce way better photos.

The Dp1x is on sale for 350 bucks, new. Seems like a steal. If I'm not mistaken.....it's still the badass hi resolution sensor....it just isn't as well "matched" with the lens as the new DP1M?...

Awesome photos. Love the deer and the upward perspective with the light on the rocks. Great captures!

I'll add that I have no idea how to upload photos that look sharp to DPReview. The photo looks about 50 times sharper on my computer.
