That's a fact. I'm one of them.

Kudos DPR. Especially "feedback and suggestions." This improves collaboration that will benefit members and DPR.

@mausta Good job bringing this mish-mash into perspective. You nailed it.

I respect your right to your opinions. I do believe that national constitutions are strong indicators or evidence as to what that society values. I see Article 14 of the Basic Law for the Federal...

@ call me Skippy "I would be strongly in favor for a non-ownership policy on cars. Would be way more efficient" Like I said, you seem to have a loose concept of property rights. I don't know if...

@ Call me Skippy Your concept of property rights is rather loose. The entity that purchased the art for public display has to buy out the rights to the art. Then the entity has to release it in...

@absentaneous Ferrari is a brand and you can't use their brand in ways that they don't want you to. Like you can't put dog s**t on the hood and photograph that next to the Ferrari logo. So you...

I agree with PrebenR. It's often a mistake to offer deals to new customers and cut out current customers.
Offering discounts to current owners is smart because it is good for customer loyalty. ...

Good job on the new test scene, DPR. After reading about a hundred of these comments I suggest DPR create a limited run of 1,000 suitable for framing prints, on archival paper, of the previous...

This is very helpful Kendall, thanks. I knew about the B&W but I'm surprised at the color at those high ISOs. Foveon is even better than I thought it was.

Yes, I realize these images are not of high quality, as the OP also pointed out. And if one is printing large images there is certainly a clear need for high quality images. My point is simply...

This is really interesting. Thanks. I wonder to what extent the Foveon limitation above ISO 200 is a myth that could be dispelled by post processing? I guess I'll have to buy a Merrill to find...

Thanks again, Victor. After all I've read about Foveon being capable only at ISO 100 or 200 I would have thought these types of photos at ISO 2000 would be impossible.

Thanks for download Victor.

Interesting. I thought maybe it being nearly monochromatic helped. Thanks for the explanation. I really think this image at ISO 2000 shows how much the boundaries can be pushed on the Foveon...

I don't have a Merrill yet to check this out for myself, so can someone here please explain: How is it that this shot is so sharp and noise free (in the in-focus areas) when shot at ISO 2000? ...

Lazlo - Thank you for this artistic expression of peaceful harmony. Many of the images we see illustrate the incredible detail possible with the Foveon sensor - this one illustrates its...

"Then there is the question of pricing: D600 + AF-S Nikkor 24-70/2.8 = €1500 + €1540 = about €3000 D7100 + Sigma = €1220 + (certainly) more than €1800 = (certainly) more than €3000" Estimating...

Right Tom. I absolutely agree with you and DMiller above. I'm an X10 user who saw Ratty's many posts on DPR Fuji forum, where he took a lot of heat. A high-spirited forum that stays away from...
